After joining the team in 2022, and with over 16 years of experience in the financial industry, Jacob has taken over ownership of Thorson Financial after Tom and Teri decided to retire in early 2025. He has earned his LUTCF, FSS®, BFA™ and ChFC® designations.
Jacob has completed the Series 6 exam: the Investment Company and Variable Contracts Products Representative Qualification, The Series 7 exam: FINRA General Securities Representative Qualification, the Series 63 exam: NASAA Uniform Securities Agent State Law, and the Series 65 exam: NASAA Uniform Investment Advisor Law. His approach is “lead with planning for a more comprehensive approach; focusing on what’s important to you.”
Jacob grew up in a small, rural Nevada town. He moved to the Valley in 2008 with his wife. They have two children, two cats, and a pig. He enjoys spending time with his family, outdoor activities, cycling, house projects, and gardening.
